Just a reminder that I'm working with BBC Radio 4 on a program about British Indians returning to or moving to India and what they expected to find - opportunity, growing economy, food, culture, climate - and whether their expectations are fulfilled. If you have already replied to this email, I'll be in touch in the next day or so to finalize interview times/locations for next Monday and Tuesday. If not, and you want to take part, please read on....

I'm looking for a cross section of people - singles, young couples, older couples, couples with young children or grown-up children - who fall into any of the following categories and are available for interview next Monday or Tuesday:

1). People who are British-born of Indian heritage but who have decided to make a full return to India, and have found a satisfying way of life.
2). British-born Indians who decided to move to India but are finding the way of life testing - for whatever reason - culture, environment, bureaucracy.
3). People in the UK who are on the point of of leaving for India, or who have recently arrived and are beginning to adapt to their new way of life.
4). People who divide their time between India and the UK

If you or anyone you know meets the criteria and would be interested in taking part, please contact me by email on or call 99456 91533.

Authentic Italian Cooking or German Classes :-)

Posted by Sefora Cu on December 17, 2014 at 3:59pm 0 Comments

Hi there!

I am an Italian born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. My parents owned two, now one, Italian Restaurant. At an early age already I was taught the specialities of the Italian Cuisine and how to produce them. I have been cooking very often with friends and taught them the Italian way of cooking - which, of course, everyone loved! I love to share the old knowledge about Pizza, Pasta and so on, and to bring a little bit of the 'Italian way of living' to India :-)

After spending 2 years in Pune i was hoping for some friendly advice on local areas etc. i am located in the Whitefield area and being Scottish i naturally want to know the good places to get a good drink and a laugh at the weekends. World Cup upon us where will be good to watch it, where are the best bars in general?! Any advice would be welcome....
