I grew up in Mumbai, India but am now a US citizen with an OCI
What are you doing in bangalore ?
Hi everyone, I am a recent transplant to Bangalore, having just relocated here from San Francisco, to run some of Zynga's large global game businesses from India. I've spent half my life in the US, leaving India to go to graduate school at the Univ of Wisconsin-Madison and then to MIT. My decision to return is based on the desire to be closer to my parents in Mumbai as they get older.I am a software entrepreneur at heart: I co-founded a software company, Firefly, based on my thesis research at MIT and sold it to Microsoft in 1998 where I spent the next several years launching a number of new products in different markets, even having the privelege of working directly for Steve Ballmer on a special project. I left to travel and move to the bay area.I am an adventurous and happy person by nature. I love travel and the excitement of meeting new people and seeing new places. I have backpacked thru Europe, learned scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, swum with dolphins in NZ, danced the samba in a Brazilian street party till dawn, and taken a tramp steamer all the way down the coast of Chile to the tip of the South American continent. I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel through France, Italy, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, the UK, the Bahamas, Australia, NZ, Brazil, Chile and of course all parts of India and the US.In terms of my passions and hobbies, apart from travel, I love to salsa and swing dance, cook and eat yummy spicy food, discuss world affairs, politics, economics with similarly curious, like minded people, bike, play soccer and race sailboats.I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to know Bangalore better. I speak English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarathi (the former fluently, the latter two less so :-)

I am an Italian born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. My parents owned two, now one, Italian Restaurant. At an early age already I was taught the specialities of the Italian Cuisine and how to produce them. I have been cooking very often with friends and taught them the Italian way of cooking - which, of course, everyone loved! I love to share the old knowledge about Pizza, Pasta and so on, and to bring a little bit of the 'Italian way of living' to India :-)
